Yoga for Depression
Research indicates that yoga can provide significant relief from depression by using the breath as a gateway to awareness, in combination with movement of the body, allowing us to experience the present moment.
Yoga helps raise levels of oxytocin, a hormone that reduces blood pressure and cortisol levels and relaxes the whole body. These classes prompt how to feel a connection between the body, breath and mood and ways to manage or steady the fluctuations of the mind.
This specialised Therapeutic Yoga program is being run by Anna Mansfield, a certified Yoga Teacher who is completing her post graduate studies in Yoga Therapy.

The cost for this 8-week program is $280.
