Victoria is a mental health accredited social worker with 20 years of clinical and leadership experience. Her warm and engaging manner will help you feel safe and allow you to talk about whatever it is that has brought you to us.
Victoria has practiced in many settings including mental health, alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, sexual assault services and within the legal system. Victoria is excited to be able to bring all of this together to give you the best possible experience of therapy.
No two people are the same and therefore every session is tailored to meet your needs. Victoria is trained in a range of evidence based therapies including CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), motivational interviewing and skills training. She has a particular interest in helping people resolve underlying trauma and reduce the distress associated with traumatic memories.
