This small-group supervision series facilitated by Clinical Psychologist Stacey Hosking is designed for psychologists seeking focused, practical support with autism assessment. The group provides a structured and supportive space to discuss real cases, strengthen clinical reasoning, and build confidence in assessment decision-making.

The group is intentionally capped at four participants to allow for meaningful case discussion and depth. Across the series, participants are expected to bring cases for discussion, with each session facilitated to support learning from both individual presentations and shared reflection.

All sessions run online for one hour and are scheduled for Mondays at lunchtime:

This supervision series is suited to psychologists seeking specialist input in autism assessment within a supportive, thoughtful group environment.

Stacey Hosking

Clinical Psychologist
B.Psyc (Hons), M.Psych (Clin), AAPi

Stacey Hosking is an AHPRA-endorsed Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years’ experience specialising in psychological and developmental assessment across public and private settings.

Stacey has extensive expertise in comprehensive diagnostic assessment for both children, adolescents, and adults. She spent over a decade working within a specialist multidisciplinary child development service, where she conducted complex assessments across the lifespan for presentations including autism, ADHD, developmental delay, learning differences, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, behavioural concerns, and emotional and relational difficulties. During this time, she held senior clinical and leadership roles and contributed to service development and clinical governance.

Alongside her clinical assessment work, Stacey has significant experience in supervision, teaching, and training. She is an AHPRA-accredited supervisor across all psychology training pathways and has supervised and trained many psychologists and university students in assessment practice. Stacey has also facilitated assessment-focused training and supervision groups, supporting clinicians to strengthen formulation, diagnostic reasoning, and report writing skills.

Stacey’s assessment and therapy work is grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-focused practice. When working with children, adolescents, and adults, she draws on Dan Hughes’ PACE approach to support safe, respectful, and collaborative engagement throughout the assessment process. Her therapeutic training includes parent–child and dyadic therapies, play-based approaches, EMDR, cognitive behaviour therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Stacey is a Conjoint Lecturer with the University of Newcastle and has contributed to the education and development of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. and remains committed to ongoing professional development, including current training in the Safe House Framework to support neurodiversity-affirming practice.
