Dr Tim Regan is an independent consultant Clinical Psychologist who provides services from The Hummingbird Centre.
Tim is a warm and approachable clinician with experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. He values the therapeutic relationship and uses Motivational Interviewing strategies to support a collaborative approach to improving mental health and wellbeing.
Tim is experienced and trained in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). He works with a variety of mental health presentations, including anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma, substance use disorders, behavioural difficulties (including Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder), psycho-oncology, and other chronic or ongoing health conditions.
Tim holds a PhD and has a research background in psycho-oncology, mental health, and health behaviour. He is also an AHPRA-approved supervisor, providing supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and 5+1 Provisional Psychologists.
