Ohnmar is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and attachment-related concerns, emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties, substance use and life transitions.
Ohnmar takes a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change and works alongside clients to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and improve overall wellbeing. Her aim is to help clients feel empowered to navigate challenges, connect with their strengths, and move towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Ohnmar is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological care tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. She draws from a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to therapeutic work, Ohnmar also has interests in providing psychological assessments for intellectual ability, learning difficulties, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
