Megan Pumpa is an independent Clinical Psychologist who provides services from The Hummingbird Centre.
Megan is a warm and empathic clinician who values understanding each client as a unique individual. She provides a tailored, client-centred approach to therapy, helping people work toward meaningful change in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Megan has experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns, including stress, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She has a particular interest in treating anxiety, especially obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and generalised anxiety disorder.
Megan is skilled in providing evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.
In addition to her clinical work, Megan is a Board Approved Supervisor and enjoys providing supervision to provisional psychologists completing their internship, as well as to psychologists undertaking the clinical registrar program.
