Kaz Amos is an independent consultant Psychologist providing services from The Hummingbird Centre.
With over 25 years of experience supporting individuals, couples and families, Kaz brings depth, warmth and practical insight to her work. Her professional background spans counselling, psychology, fitness and leadership, allowing her to take a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing.
Kaz has a special interest in trauma, nervous system regulation and the mind–body connection. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Neurofeedback. She also incorporates mindfulness and movement-based approaches, including “walk and talk” therapy, recognising the powerful role of nature and embodiment in healing.
Kaz is passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief and life transitions. She values the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of change and is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate and collaborative space for growth.
