Naomi Dennett is an independent consultant Psychologist who provides services from The Hummingbird Centre.
Naomi is an empathetic, passionate, and enthusiastic registered psychologist with over seven years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She offers a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment where clients can build emotional regulation skills, strengthen social connections, and deepen their understanding of themselves.
Naomi has experience working with clients who have — or are exploring — Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, chronic pain, personality disorders, learning difficulties, trauma, and behavioural challenges, among other presentations. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and play-based and trauma-informed approaches.
Naomi also values the involvement of families in the therapeutic process and enjoys working as part of a supportive network to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
Her goal is to create sessions where clients feel validated in their emotions and experiences, while also being encouraged to explore new perspectives and practical, individualised tools they can apply in everyday life.
