Paula is a Registered Psychologist who provides a warm, safe and nurturing space to connect with her clients. Paula’s passion is working with children, adolescents and their families to support them to work through emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety and depression, school refusal, grief and loss, low self-esteem and trauma. Paula also enjoys working with children and young people who are Autistic and/or have ADHD. She is also a LGBTQIA+ ally. Paula focuses on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients so that clients feel heard, validated and supported.
Paula is committed to providing a holistic approach to therapy to promote well-being and empower clients to achieve their goals. Paula uses a number of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Play therapy.
Before graduating with a Masters of Professional Psychology in 2020, Paula worked with children and young people across different areas including working with educators of Preschools and Long Day Care Centres and supporting children to build resilience and belief in themselves in after school activities.
