Tanayah is passionate about helping young people grow resilience, connect to, and regulate their emotions, build self-esteem, and overcome difficulties, including healing from complex and traumatic experiences. Tanayah also enjoys working across the lifespan with children, adolescents, their families, and adults. Prior to embarking on her career in psychology, Tanayah spent several years mentoring and supporting young women in a high-school arts and wellbeing program. She has also worked closely with John Hunter Children’s Hospital, supporting children and their families during difficult times.
Tanayah is warm and compassionate with her therapy style, holding space and a commitment to the healing and ambitions of those she works with. While taking on a holistic approach, Tanayah’s main therapeutic modalities include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neurofeedback and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Tanayah also has a keen interest in incorporating creativity with those she works with through art and play therapy techniques. Tanayah is passionate about helping children and adults to feel a sense of calm and control, to achieve their goals and to live rich and meaningful lives.
