Sarah is a friendly and empathic registered psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She offers a person-centred approach, tailoring strategies around what works best for the client in a strengths-based setting. Whether it is expressing oneself through talk therapy, play or a creative/artistic approach, Sarah offers flexibility in her therapeutic style. Sarah knows it is important to create a safe and supportive space to promote connection and foster the therapeutic relationship.
Sarah’s experience involves working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, low self-esteem, anger concerns and disordered eating. She is also able to provide support to families and carers in healthy attachment and emotional intelligence. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy.
